These textile art designs were created over a difficult couple of years, where I focussed on the importance of savouring the simple things in life. Each month I chose something that brought me life and gave me energy. These cards are prints of the original artwork. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did in making them. I hope too, that each one enables the recipient to pause, reflect and consider the riches of all we have, savouring the simple things in life.

These textile art designs were created over a year, as I reflected on my word for the year. I had chosen the word “Dwell” because the previous year had been “journey”, where I thought we would move house. It had become very apparent that we were to remain…and so, I chose this old-fashioned Biblical word of “dwell” to contemplate. I learned so much in the reflection and in the making. Each piece symbolises what I learned and there is a shortened explanation on the back of each card. I hope that these printed designs bless you and speak to you, as the creating and reflecting did to me.

Philip is the glue that holds Harlequin Arts together. He provides all the practical background parts to the business that most people don't see.

He designs the web, sorts out the tedious finance bits and deals with strange requests from "How do I change the pixel size of this photograph?" to "Can you make 12 peg looms by next week?"!

However, he is happiest when he's climbing hills, whether that be cycling or walking, or in the kitchen baking bread.
