I think that this month, the fragility of the earth has highlighted my own – and the arid, scorched earth, for me, has been a direct analogy of my own soul’s dryness and longing for refreshment.

There was a time when a quiet moment was simply that. Now, instead, almost instinctively, we all reach for content on our phones… The irony is hard to miss. Never before have we had so much content, and yet so many of us struggle with contentment.

How might others remember us?
I wonder, as Christian people, whether we are evidently “completely and courageously” ourselves, bearing witness to Christ, and our unique vision of the world, living our best life?

Have you ever felt that life has become too crowded, heavy or wieldy to manage, as the slow accumulation of life’s physical and emotional responsibilities leave you with a heaviness that steals your energy and motivation?
